White Christmas Wreath

Posted on February 18, 2010.
White Christmas WreathDo you prefer Christmas lights white or colored?

I prefer white, they seem classier than me for some reason. I put them on the edge of the roof on the mantle above the fireplace and the tree (the only color lights I have are a set of lights on the tree bubble, but it are not the same as the lights flicker in color). I have a very wooded front yard and thought that two of the reindeer white lights would be enough and maybe some white lights on the wreath on the door. What do you think?

Oh and is it just me or does it seem more like colored lights are flashing on several components sinc? That would make me mad!

Merry Christmas!

If you like white, and you cut the house in white, then white reindeer in the front yard would look lovely, as would a white wreath on the door. Cool, stylish and chic.
Me? I prefer the colored lights confused and I do not care if they wink and blink in sync or not. It reminds me of when the children were small and "helped" to cut the tree. They made decorations for the Sunday school and elementary school, which looked godawful, but they were very proud of them, then they went on the tree and have been registered for next year when they joined the collection of things that should be part of our tree Chrirstmas.
However, it has good memories, and I guess I'm not chic, cool or stylish, because for me is what Christmas is all about. If I want to see the beautifully decorated trees, I'll go to the mall or garden store, where they have a "12 bays and each bay contains Christmas a different tree on the theme.

And a Happy Hogmanay to you too!

And I think you look cool and stylish while I love a messy tree with my grandchildren, who are now their "art" as well. Enjoy a happy holiday. Report Abuse

I prefer white lights.

Your idea about the deer and the lights on the crown looks pretty. Go ahead.

But whatever you do, choose either white or colored. Do not do both (at least not too tight)!

I like white Christmas lights, but they are a bit boring. When I ride with during the Christmas period and see almost all the houses have white lights that makes me like the color more even light red. We put white lights on the house and color around our entrance way and on the Christmas tree. Mix It Up alittle.

white. and do not blink.

..... I'm White answered that question maybe someone else well .... definitely white

I like both white and colored lights, but I still prefer the one or two colors are used.

I'm not a big fan of flashing lights, though.

I use white and blue Christmas lights for the outside and on the tree. It looks so nice. I will never, but a gain of colored lights. I think the white lights can turn to the plain try to add a little color somewhere. Just an idea.

I prefer color because white is very white dull.but outside.i looks very nice prefer white on the fireplace.

I spend each year - but I recently saw a court decorated with every color - solid green lights around a tree, red on the bushes around windows solid blue, gold around the door. Different.
I like the idea of reindeer, I also saw moose informed that appeals to the idiot myself.
I do not like fires Blinky, although some can be programmed to do a slow fade - they are somewhat OK.

Are you a racist?
