Types Of Fir Trees

Posted on February 12, 2010.
Types Of Fir TreesWhat is the right time to prune a tree?

I have a limit of trees (type uncertain), and they are overlooking a wooden fence beside it on a public highway by 300mm and I want to trim the surplus without endangering tree health.

I would say that when the sap has stopped rising - which is about now until spring. If you do it now, trees will have a chance to heal before the frost. Firs things are tough enough to be brave and chop as much as you need.

approximately 1 - 45 pm

any time, but if you're interested, get a handful of soil and / compost from under the tree and rub on the wound of the branch of the tree you cut --- but try not being a fan by pruning the branches, so you do it yourself - do not leave the Gaza branch or pressure where it is not wanted --- Do not forget that there will be a lot of weight on these members - if in doubt get help from experts - but they are strong enough that the chance I guess - good!

Fall is a good time - or until spring.
DO NOT cut back too harshley conifers, because they have a very long time to come back if at all. ie Little & often (every year) is the best.

Tomorrow??? this afternoon???
