Refer to the authentic sources of the religion The followers of major religions, be it Hinduism, Islam or Christianity, have divided themselves into sects and beliefs varied. It is not appropriate for trying to understand a religion by observing the followers of this religion. Most of the disciples themselves may not be aware of the correct teaching of their religion. Thus, the best and most appropriate method of understanding any religion is to understand the authentic sources of this religion, namely the sacred texts of the religion. b. Authentic sources of Islam. Allah (swt), God Almighty says in the Holy Qur'an: And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you) and be not divided among yourselves. (Al Quran 3:103) The string "Allah refers to" the holy Koran. Allah (swt) says that Muslims should not be divided and that the only unifying factor is the true source of the religion of Islam, namely the Koran.
