As someone mentioned, you may want to re think the spark plugs or at least leave them off. Many places will not allow you to have an open flame like candles lit and most simple accident can become an enormous tragedy in seconds with lighted candles on the tables.

I made such a centerpiece of a niece. I have a hard Styrofoam the size I wanted and then glued half a bullet syrofoam center. I made a hole for the candle and then covered it all in the glue. When the glue is sticky I put rose petals, fake, the whole piece, I layered twice it look nice and full. I put a little bride and groom on them as if they were standing in a garden of roses and I think I had as a small arc. I then added glitter in the right color and candles in the right color and it was there. people came out rather well and many asked where I got them.

I'm sorry, but I just wanted to mention that many places do not allow lit candles on the tables. It's just something to ask about before you get your heart set on. I think it sounds beautiful.

Do you make crafts at all? You can hot glue the rose petals around a votive holder - these are really nice - much better than the CIP. Here's a (slow loading) site about it

You can still use the battery Tealights if space does not allow candles.

Hello and congratulations!

The look you want is both elegant and easy! For some reason I can not find the image I want now ... but I saw one that was so easy ...

~ Just put on the table by five candles staggered (not all at once) ... more like how a "W" looks. Then petals scatter everywhere, so is the impression they are on a "bed" of rose petals.

~ Place a mirror in the center of the table .... put a few votives on top and sprinkle with a little rose petals.

~ Place a mirror on the table, petals round glass bowl and put in a "pink" floating candles .... then dispersed around the bowl.

Just use Google to find ideas. There are tons of ideas for this piece. A good website is:

Good luck!

Get a glass bowl of fresh color and fill it with petals, put four candles around the bowl so it is an imaginary square. More flow petals so they fit between the spaces between the candles.

www.Orientaltrading.com a very inexpensive wedding and other parties. (Oriental Trading Company). You can also find rose petals in a dollar store.

Some places will not let you have lit candles on a table, unless the main draw, but it depends. Oriental Trading has candles that runs on batteries and some that look lited. You can get the simiply candles and not turn it on but what's the point in this regard.
