Photo Wreath

Posted on March 4, 2010.
Photo WreathWhy am I told not to take a picture of the crown of giant MetLife building in New York?

I wanted to take a picture of this huge ring was set up while sitting on the floor, I went to take a photo and a security guard told me not to. Although I took one anyway I was curious to know why I wasn't supposed to. It's not like he was hiding he was sitting on the ground Infront of two cranes and it was blocked.

Since the terrorist attack on 9 / 11, buildings and their security personnel are more stringent on the photos taken. In addition, the type of your camera (the one with with a big / long lens) may have played out.

Incidentally, the MetLife building is a building "sensitive" then this is the reason why you have been approached by security.

I just want to keep these photos for yourself and do not put them online.
