Perhaps You Sent A Lovely Card

Posted on February 8, 2010.
Perhaps You Sent A Lovely CardWhat is allowed to be sent to a person in basic training?

Recently, I sent my boyfriend who is currently at Fort. Leonard Wood, Missouri, my letters, and other things.

However, I wrote about eight letters, and as they were too big to go into a normal size envelope, I had to use a brown envelope (East only envelopes of normal size allowed? I just wonder because I really want him to receive my business).

I have included a small calendar, because he had politely asked a countdown of days before he saw me, a phone card, a Valentine card (I wanted to make it soon I could so he did receive something for the holidays), a book of stamps, and my little pile of letters (which I had to fold twice!).

What else is permitted / prohibited?

I understand that you do not send food, or naughty photos o). Photos regular agreement? And ... uh, I sprayed my letters with my perfume because he had asked, and I'm assuming that this might be a bad thing to do? I do not want it began, but I have promised, then I do not know!

I'm new to this, and I just want answers to all of you beautiful! Please understand that this is my first time dealing with someone very basic!

Letters, photos and maps are very good, I guess the timing is OK too. This could cause problems is to send them all at once in one large package. It is a concern that the DS will look at the opening and I delete everything one by one to ensure that no contraband.

I still do not understand the thing without food. There was a guy who got some biscuits. They just had to share with everyone while they were gone before we went in.

The fragrance will find him a lot of shit dude. If DS does not like it, you'll be the 52nd person to know, I guarantee the 49 or 50 in the squad already heard.

We sent some pictures of my sister, but she took with her. I do not think you can have a little calendar, but next time, just send regular size envelopes,

Make sure you have the correct address and the name too!

You can send anything except food and dirty pictures. regular pictures and spraying perfume letters are very good. anything more than a standard envelope or anything that has pictures in it will be opened in front of his sergeants drill. Use common sense, but he probably used to ask for anything, he can not have. Good Luck

Just stick with the letters. Food, magazines, pictures, etc. .. everything is either forbidden or they will get a ton of shit from their TIS for her.

Hey! Out of curiosity, what MP Company is your friend?

Keep letters and photos, they are really busy 24 / 7 in base.
