Mourning Flowers

Posted on March 13, 2010.
Mourning FlowersIt is traditional to send a Korean family in mourning? Flowers? Food?

My cousin co-worker died suddenly and we do not know if it is Buddhist or not, but it is certainly Korean. We want to be the most appropriate possible to send gifts to family. Also, would it be desirable that the two aides were to attend the funeral? Help is greatly appreciated!

From looking at things on the net, apparently the most common gift is money to families if they choose to send buried with the loved one or use it as an expense, they apparently spend along like a funeral money "gift".

Perhaps a beautiful plant, Im sure it would be nice to attend the funeral,

You can read about this culture a part only certain colors for the funeral or to accept certain gifts that you do not want to offend.
