Led String Lights

Posted on March 9, 2010.
Led String LightsWhat are the advantages of LED (string of Christmas lights)?

I work in a department store and we sell Christmas lights (usually your tree), but were sent no information about them. I know they use less energy and last "long" and are not replaceable, but what other info I can give my customers?
I'd love to be able to tell them how long they will last or how they work. If one blows, the rest go on a string of fairy lights?
Should I push the LED lights or direction of persons returning to their traditional fairy lights Replaceable?

Thank you!

You're right - unlike incandescent bulbs, which have a wire that emits light because of the inflammation in a vacuum, LEDs have a harmless gas in them that turns on but produces no heat .
LED working on low voltage so there is no risk of electric shock and will not fire hazard and will last many tears for decent types.
Incandescent lamps also have the disadvantage that they can be easily broken glass while the LEDs are made of hard plastic.
Individual lights rarely fail so they are not intended to be removed or replaced.
Many of them come from China, as you probably know, but are not always reliable in terms of life expectancy, while spending a little more on something DECET will be money well spent.

They also run cool theres no chance to put something on fire
