Indoor Xmas Lights

I can not get the suction hooks to stick on the wall or window. ideas on what I can use to hold up the Christmas decorations inside without using nails or other things that would hurt instead? blue tack would work or not? ideas appreciated, Thanks

I can see where suction hooks can now stick to the walls. There is a product called mighty putty (as seen on TV product) that claims it can join up to 350 pounds - he should be able to manage your lights. Also, I used the 3M Command hooks with great success. Removing them when you finish is a snap. See them here:

It is a product you can use I think his command called or something like that is at Walmart, Target and K-Mart can, if you have one of those around you. They are little hooks that adhere to walls without nail holes, and work very well if you get to those large enough to support the weight of the lamps. Cupping likely will not work, except on glass or a very smooth surface, again they would need to be large enough to support the weight of the lamps. If you want to suspend the lights, what about using fishing line to say, curtain rods, etc. Hope this helps

Try 3M. They have hooks that adhere to the wall, but can be removed when you are finished with them. Sorry, I do not remember the name of them right now, but they advertise their lot this time of year for decorations.
