History Of Wreaths

What is the history of the Christmas wreath? Why do we hang a wreath on the doors and decorate their house w \?

I never understood why we hang a Christmas wreath on our door, they symbolize something?

I do not know about you, but I'll try wild in the dark. A ring can symbolize the greetings, peace and harmony, peace and blessings, or RIP.

It is a vestige of the pagan tradition, like the Christmas tree.
