Headstone PoemsPosted on February 16, 2010. Does anyone have a good poem for a tombstone? My grandfather just died at the age of 62 years it was too early for him, he was a great man and we are looking for a really touching poem, or something to put on his tombstone . when people look at the reading, they will think "man that was loved Guy" The day is over, By foreign hands thy humble grave adorned by foreigners honored by strangers mourned. --- Alexander Pope I know people who have used words or relative from the deceased or loved songs or relating to his life a certain way. I know I do not give you a poem to use, but perhaps this can give you an idea. I hope so.
