Christmas Lilies

Posted on February 22, 2010.
Christmas LiliesChristmas Lily - Flowering least annually - should I remove them?

It is the third year I had Christmas lilies - the first year they were plentiful - with six or more flowers per stem - last year not bad but not as prolific - this year, had a stem with 6 flowers - about 10 rods with two flowers and many others with just one flower and even more without buds at all - should I remove them, and if so when, how to take care of them and also when to replant - I was told when I bought it flowers twice a year, but that does not happen - all the help and advice appreciated - many thank you

When it starts to get warmer as spring is put in a larger container / pot with lots of organic matter, keep warm, not direct sun,
