Chelsea Flower Show 2009

The small garden in the world's most famous east London Chelsea Flower Show and has been treating visitors to a plethora of horticulture since its inception in 1862. It is the flagship event of the Royal Horticultural Society, attracting over 150,000 visitors on the grounds of the historic Royal Hospital Chelsea, where he held every May since 1913.

It may be known as the Chelsea Flower Show, but it's not only flowers on show here, in fact, the show is officially called the Great Spring Show and showcases the best flowers, plants, design and landscaping of many experts in horticulture.

So exactly what you see on the show? Well, the show gardens are one of the most popular. These impressive gardens have been designed, usually around a theme, and may include structures, water features, landscaping and more. If you are looking for inspiration for your own garden, you will find plenty of it here!

The demonstration gardens are often on a large scale, but if you have a small urban garden do not worry, you do not miss out - at the Chelsea Flower Show 2009 they featured the town and gardens of the court, so hopefully that 'they do the same in 2010!

The Floral Design Marquee, on a smaller scale too, as here, you will find out in the most amazing flowers, while in the Grand Pavilion in the center of the Chelsea Flower Show, you'll get to see the best plants and flowers that professionals can occur, including a number of new varieties that have never been seen before.

Once you have your inspiration, perhaps you need education! Questions renowned garden is the place to find some as you can listen to talks by experts in horticulture, and even post your own questions. Maybe you find a better book for you - so you can buy books, and all sorts of other elements associated with gardening and horticulture in the various stalls.

Each year the Chelsea Flower Show is a sell-out, because it is so popular. No tickets are available at the door because they are all sold in advance, so if you want to come in 2010 make sure you get your tickets as soon as possible.

The 2010 RHS Chelsea Flower Show will be held Tuesday, May 25 to Saturday, May 29, but Tuesday and Wednesday are the days of preview tickets are only sold to members of the Royal Horticultural Society. Finally, remember to book your hotel accommodation early. You'll find high-class hotels near the Royal Hospital Chelsea, but London has hotels for all budgets, whether 5-star hotel is beyond your price range!
