Cheap Decorations

I'm about to be a freshman in college and I go to a community college, how, and time away from home which means I'll stay in an apartment and I was wondering is there like a cheap way to decorate a room with a bed? As with fake flowers, candles or suggestions? My house at home has not really many decorations. Thank you!

My place is decorated with things from garage sales and charity shops, not to mention the discount stores where vases, silk roses, etc. can be had for almost nothing. A habit learned when an undergraduate student on mine for the first time. Now a graduate student, I still stretch the money the same way.
Oh, some stores have shelves clearance where lots of different things can be found.
Save money at any stage of life is a good thing.
